Overview of Performance center of QuickBooks Online

The Performance center can be accessed by individuals with administrative privileges for QuickBooks Online Advanced, users permitted to generate Reports, such as Reports only users, and accountant users who are reviewing their own financial records or those of their clientele.

 Chart options

Accessed through the Reports section located in the left-hand navigation panel of QuickBooks Online, the Performance center focuses on presenting financial data in a manner that is beneficial to clients.

The information displayed in the Performance center is updated every four hours, guaranteeing that your clients have access to precise and current data.

Choose which charts to display

The Performance Center has the capacity to exhibit as many as 25 charts within the dashboard. To tailor the selection of charts visible, one should opt for the Quick add charts dropdown and subsequently designate the desired report type.

Charts are displayed in the Performance center dashboard as widgets.

Customize the layout

In addition to the manipulation of widgets, both you and your clients have the ability to enhance the customization of the Performance center dashboard through the reorganization of widgets and adjustment of their dimensions.

To accomplish this task, simply opt for the customization of the layout.

 


 You can then select and drag widgets to a new location. You can also change the height and width of a widget by selecting the center point of the top/bottom or left/right side.

When you’re finished, select Done.

 


 

Create custom charts

By selecting + Add new chart, you can create new custom charts.

         


Depending on what the client wants to track, there are multiple templates to choose from:

 Clients have the ability to personalize their chart by selecting their preferred visualization method for data representation, such as vertical bars, pie charts, or trend lines. The availability of these choices is contingent upon the specific chart type and the comparison data that has been selected.
